Telus Spark’s Brainasium adds new phase offering more ‘risky play’

To a beginner it’s a bit stressful, even scary, at first glance. But while Telus Spark’s Brainasium might seem a bit intimidating, its physical challenges are building better cognitive skills through the benefits of what experts are calling “risky play.” The one-acre outdoor adventure park, which originally opened last summer, unveiled a new expansion phase Tuesday with a number of unique playground pieces that challenge kids to climb higher, swing farther and slide faster in order to better develop their brains.
