KIVI PARK PARTIAL CLOSURE

During these uncertain times, we understand the importance of enjoying fresh air and getting out of our homes and into nature. However, this comes with great responsibility.
For the safety of our community Kivi Park is partially closed. Our playgrounds, washrooms, chalet and all other buildings are CLOSED.
Our guests must be diligent and follow the mandatory protocols in place to keep all of us safe. If you wish to access our trails, please do so with caution and respect for the following COVID-19 preventative measures: - Please park a far distance from other cars (10 ft between cars). Where possible and or access our trail system from our 3 parking lots located on Raft Lake Road. To access, guests must follow McFarlane Lake Road past Futurescape Landscaping and turn right onto Raft Lake Road. - Do not, at ANY time, congregate in groups or meet others at the park. Enjoy the park with ONLY the members of your family from within the same household. - Please respect the closure of ALL buildings, vending machines and the playground facilities at this time to help reduce the amount of traffic to high-touch areas. - Please practice social distancing while at the park and keep a distance of 10 ft. between yourself and other guests. -Bring your own sanitizers, wipes etc and use often. - If you have ANY symptoms or have been travelling in the past two weeks, have come in contact with anyone suspected of having COVID19 we request that you do not use the Park and continue to self-isolate as required.

During this uncertain time, we would like to remind guests of the Affordability Fund available to those who may not have the means to pay for a pass. For more information, visit our website (link in bio)

From all of us at @KiviPark, we hope that everyone is doing well. We understand the challenges that we are all facing right now and how difficult it may be for some. We know the importance of getting out in nature, staying active and taking time for one’s mental and physical health. While our trails are open and we welcome our guests to enjoy Kivi Park, please do so with caution and respect for the #COVID19 preventative measures we have put into place and those recommended by the government. - Please park a far distance from other cars where possible and or access our trail system from our 3 parking lots located on Raft Lake Road. To access, guests must follow McFarlane Lake Road past Futurescape Landscaping and turn right onto Raft Lake Road. Doing this will drastically reduce any potential congregating of individuals in the main parking lot. - Please respect the closure of ALL buildings and the playground facilities at this time to help reduce the amount of traffic to high-touch areas. We strongly encourage all guests to avoid touching surfaces at the park if possible. - Please practise social distancing while at the park and keep a distance of 10ft. between yourself and other guests. -Bring your own sanitizers, wipes etc and use often.
If you have ANY symptoms or have been travelling in the past two weeks, have come in contact with anyone suspected of having COVID19 we request that you do not use the Park.
During this uncertain time, we would like to remind guests of the Affordability Fund available to those who may not have the means to pay for a pass. For more information, visit www.kivipark.com.

“Parks are the lungs of the city, and they’re medicine for us.” – Fred Lum, The Globe and Mail

With many of us looking for ways to cope with the changes and uncertainty, it is important to remember to tend to our physical and mental health. Getting outdoors, breathing in the fresh air and getting physical exercise are all fantastic ways to take care of both. What better place to do so than @kivipark !
With social distancing and taking other necessary precautions, Kivi Park is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and disconnect from daily stress. With over 55 km of trails to explore for outdoor winter activities, we have something for everyone!

Please be advised that the playgrounds and buildings at the Park have been closed to limit access to high-touch areas, however, all of our trails remain open and in good condition. We strongly encourage all guests to practise social distancing while at the Park. Please also leave a full space open on each side of your car while parking and use the entire parking lot up when space permits. Also please remember the quietest way to enter the park is through Parking Lots 1 to 7 along Raft Lake Road.

Looking for some #MarchBreak Fun with the kids?
Being outside in nature can have a positive impact on both mental and physical health! Explore the trails at Kivi this week while searching the park for some of our scavenger hunt items and submit a photo with your completed list and you could have a chance to win a Family Day Pass! You do not have to touch the items, just collect a great photo collage of your winter treasures!

While the Park remains open, with the exception of Nina’s Way which is closed due to mild weather conditions, the playground and all buildings at the park are CLOSED at this time to reduce the amount of traffic in high touch areas. While using Kivi Park, please be diligent and implement social distancing between yourself and other park users. Ensure you wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the park, always cough into your arm or a Kleenex and keep gloves/mittens on at all times.

To avoid congesting parking lots, you are reminded that there are more isolated parking lots on Raft Lake Rd with park access and we encourage as many as people as possible to access through these parking areas.

Get outside, have fun, relax, but do so in a safe and mindful manner.
