Last week, we welcomed roughly 500 students from 13 local schools for the 3rd Annual Courage to Stand Walk/Run. This Pink Glove initiative was created to remind students of the importance of spreading kindness and to encourage them to take a stand against bullying.
Thanks to sponsors, @Pioneer construction and @fisherwavy who purchased a pair of pink gloves for every student. Wearing their pink gloves, students gave a handshake to take the pledge to not be a bystander when they witness bullying.
Congratulations to the @sudburypolice and @cyacsudbury for putting together this wonderful event for local students.
With the warm weather beginning to fade, we know winter will be right around the corner and we’re not ready to let go of summer just yet! If you haven’t had the chance to experience the beautiful Crowley Lake, there’s still time.
