Things you need:
- Day or Annual Kivi ParkPass
- GPS or Smart Phone with a map app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.).
- Cache Coordinate provided on this website (-46.3995654,-80.9895185)
- A small item you plan on leaving in the cache (keychain, small toy, sticker, bracelet, etc.).
How to play:
- Enter the coordinate into your device.
- Use the hiking trails to make your way to the location of the cache.
- Once at your destination, search the area for the cache. Caches can be well hidden. Use the hint to find it.
- Once found, open the cache. Take an item and replace it with the item you brought.
- Finally, log your cache by adding your name and the date to the logbook. If the logbook is full, please contact us to let us know that the logbook need to be replaced.
Play by using What3Words.
This method is more suitable for youth.
Things you need:
- Day or Annual Kivi Park Pass
- Smart Phone with the What3Words app
- Cache what3word Coordinate provided on this website (///park.walk.tree).
- A small item you plan on leaving in the cache (keychain, small toy, sticker, bracelet, etc.).
How to play:
- -Enter the What3Words coordinate into the What3Words app search bar. Click NAVIGATE.
- Use the hiking trails and the compass to make your way to the location of the cache. -Once at your destination, search the area for the cache. Caches can be well hidden. Use the hint to find it.
- Once found, open the cache. Take an item and replace it with the item you brought.
- Finally, log your cache by adding your name and the date to the logbook. If the logbook is full, please contact us to let us know that the logbook need to be replaced.
